Hi, I was in the third year of B.tech (Computer Science) when I did that Nanodegree. I don’t know anything specifically about the “Intro to Programming” Nanodegree but in my experience (I have completed two different Nanodegrees on Udacity), the Nanodegrees do tend to get difficult and technical as you go through them. But I think that is by design since it enables you to learn more and work through the hard problems. That been said, they do provide mentors and you can ask your doubts on the Udacity forum and they are really helpful in clearing your doubts.

Hope this helped. If you have any more questions, feel free to ask me :)
